黃岑葉 Skullcap Herb (Scutellaria Lateriflora)
黃岑是常見中草之一，於黃帝內經便有相關紀載，其性味歸經為味苦，性寒。歸肺、心、肝、膽及大腸經。有清熱燥濕、涼血安胎及治溫熱病等功效。雖與薄荷是近親，但卻沒有薄荷的刺激氣味。反而有一種樸實平淡的葉香和土味。
黃岑亦是北美原住民常用的抗焦慮草藥，對抽搐及失眠等症狀亦有功效。可作為花草茶泡製或作為手捲草藥使用
